Srinagar, July 29 (PTI) Jammu and Kashmir government has appointed Farooq Nazki as its media consultant, an official spokesman said today. Nazki, a former Director of Srinagar Doordarshan Kendra, took over as the media consultant to the Omar Abdullah government here yesterday. He is a noted media personality, intellectual and litterateur. He served as a Media Advisor in 1983 to the then Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah and again took over during Abdullah''s second term in 1996-2002.
